Jose has been linked to the Italian company for 6 seasons now, and he has been one of the top riders to be used for testing the new material that the company has been developing. Jose got the first proto of the Striker model a few weeks ago and has been using them in the last races, with very positive results.

The Multivan-Merida rider explains that “the fit is as good as always, with a super stiff sole. The adjustment works as it has been in the last years, featuring the SBS microadjustment lock and two velcro straps. This is something that I hope Northwave never changes, as it works perfectly well. But the most impressing thing is the weight. They offer the usual Italian fit, perform as well as usual… but weighing just 340 per piece”.

Hermida has received the Black /Green colour to fit perfectly with the Multivan-Merida outfit, but the Striker will be also available in different colours. He will be using them in the next World Cups and in the big event of the year: the World Championships.
