Hermida has been training hard in order to face in good conditions the MTB World Cups, which are getting close in the calendar. After racing in the Cape Epic, as he has done in the last seasons in order to do a good quality test, Jose has been training at home. This weekend’s race will be the last test before going for the World Cup 2010.

Jose explains this way how he feels now that he’s facing the first goals of the season: “I have been training well. I have had the chance to rest well after the Cape Epic, being tranquil at home. I have gone through a flu in the last days, but this is something normal, so it is fine. This week I have trained with some professional road riders like Dani Moreno and Losada. I have had good vibrations on the bike and this makes me feel excited about the arrival of the World Cup”.

In what comes to his agenda during the Bundesliga in Münsingen the Multivan-Merida rider tells us that “I am going to take part in a sprint race on Saturday and that will be useful to gain some explosivity. On Sunday, we will be competing in the regular XC race. I hope to feel good, as we are just a week away from the first World Cup. The result itself is not that important, although it is always nice to be up in front”.
