A couple of days ago, the Multivan-Merida rider received this new sunglasses model from Alpina, brand that sponsors all the team. They are called TRI-Praffix 3.0 and it is the model that Hermida and his team mates will wear in the most important races during 2010.

Jose has been using them for a couple of trainning sessions and explains that “I am not and I have never been a rider who likes using sunglases. It is not a matter of the material I use, but the habits I learned in my first seasons as a rider. I hadly ever use them in competition nor in trainning sessions. However, this model might change my habits. They are comfortable and light. With the transparent lenses on, you foget you are wearing them. Probably you will see me with sunglasses much more often this year”.
