Hermida was the last rider of the team to ride and could decrease that gap in a minute, what was a great lap if we keep in mind that the circuit was ridden in just about 12 minutes, although it was not enough to take the team to any podium position.

The test from yesterday was very useful in order to get sansations in this circuit and compare lap-times with the rest of competitors. Jose got the third fastest lap, 2 seconds slower than the best time, achieved by his team mate Ralph Näf. We have to keep in mind, though, that the riders who got a better lap-time were the first riders in their teams and they had to do a start loop that brought them to cross the start line at top speed.

The Multivan-Merida rider points out that “I am happy. I have had a good feeling and my lap-time is a a good reference that makes me think that I will be in front on the XC race. The pace on Sunday will be slightly slower than today, and I think I can feel comfortable there. You never know what can happen afterwards, but I am confident I can fight up there in front”.

Jose will have a soft trainning session today, while tomorrow will be the last trainning on the circuit.
