The competition will be held in Zoetermeer, in a circuit that is expected to be fast and with not much climbing, what will surely help the creation of groups.

This morning has been the moment to check the circuit and decide which tires suit better the ground conditions. The competition starts this afternoon with the Team Relay, where Jose will take part being the elite rider for the Spanish national team.

The Multivan-Merida rider explains that “I feel good and very motivated. I would prefer that the race would be later in the calendar. It is difficult to know whether you can keep the shape until the Worlds, if you are already strong at this race. For me, the European Champs are very important; it is a competition that I always prepare intensively”.

Hermida has already 3 European titles and a silver medal. For sure he will give his best both in the team relay and XC in order to increase those results.
