In Bromont Hermida will once again find himself up against Absalon, who has been following a path similar to that of his own in preparation for the Beijing race. With the fall at Mont Saint-Anne behind him, Hermida’s only objective is to put the positive sensations, the best he has had this season, to constructive use. His training for this season is once again proving to have been strategically correct, reaching at his optimum level of fitness when he most needed it.

Hermida is highly motivated for this world cup race, one which is the last test before the season’s big event. "I feel well and that is good as all the calculations which I made at the beginning of the season are producing results. I have had some excellent sensations and I now hope to turn my luck around so that in Bromont I can achieve a good result before competing in Beijing".
