After a few days with his family on the Costa del Azahar (near Castellón in Spain), José was once again fitted out in his riding gear in preparation for the most crucial part of the season, with four World Cup competitions ahead of him, and most important of all, the trials for the Beijing Olympic Games.

With batteries recharged after his summertime break and problems with a nagging tooth behind him, José is once again showing himself to be what he truly is, “the best Spanish rider in history”.

This is something which needs to be seen, and in Mont Sant Anne, his first important test before Beijing, and where the MULTIVAN MÉRIDA rider will test his current level of fitness. He will not be at top level but he will have made a marked improvement after having solved his dental problems. From hereon he will simply be ready and prepared for the big day where we hope our rider will once again take the lead.
